Teen Ministries
We have an extensive ministry for teenagers and are committed to training them to serve the Lord in their generation. Our ministry wants to do nothing more than reinforce the Godly teaching from the home and preaching from the pulpit.
Youth Department
Our church believes in investing in the young people of today through teaching Biblical principles and doctrine. We live in a generation of ministries that are geared more toward entertainment than truth. In our youth ministry, we enjoy having a good time, but are more focused on training and discipling teenagers than on entertainment.
We believe the Lord is still calling young people to the ministry and are focused on developing a culture of loving the Lord, serving others, witnessing to the lost and fulfilling God's will.
Our prayer and goal is to raise a generation of Godly servants for the Lord. To obtain this goal, we provide weekly Sunday school classes, youth training times, teen soulwinning and other avenues of service for the teenagers to be involved.
In addition, we provide monthly youth activities, attend youth conferences and youth camps during the summer, and have a great time of fun and fellowship at all scheduled youth events. Please check out our weekly and yearly events below.
Areas To Be Involved
Sunday School
The Sunday school hour is a great way for teens to become grounded in Biblical beliefs. We have teachers who will teach practical lessons that can be immediately applied to daily life. We are losing a generation of young people for lack of truth. The truth of God's Word will be carefully, but boldly taught each week. All Sunday school classes begin at 10:00 a.m.
Classes are divided by age and gender to enable each young person to receive teaching for exactly where they are in life.
TNT
Tennagers Training in Truth, better known as TNT, is an exciting time each week for all teenagers. This is probably the most popular youth time we have. It's a great time of practical teaching, Bible preaching, solos or group singing, preaching by young preachers and so much more.
SWAT
Soul-Winner Action Team. This is a time when we go out into our community as a youth group and share with people the saving message of the Lord Jesus Christ. God has commissioned us to win the lost to Christ, and teenagers are taught at an early age to be a witness.
We all know teenagers love to eat! After soul-winning, we stop for a bite to eat before heading back to the church for teen choir.
Teen Choir
Psalm 95:1 says "O come, let us sing unto the Lord..." The teen choir is a great time of just that, singing unto the Lord. The choir practices each week and has the privilege of singing monthly at the church. This is not a time for our talent to be displayed, but a time for us to worship the Lord in song.
